I’m exploring the creative process right now. This is a sketch for a long term project that I’m working on:

This work is still in it’s earliest stages. This is only the second series of sketches I’ve made for it. The project is meant to be a gift to my husband, who is a neat-o space scientist! He tells me that there will be a satellite (New Horizons) taking never-before-seen imaging of Pluto in 2014. Since I’m aiming for science-esque accuracy, I forsee this project taking those images into account. That makes this just the right topic to monitor my progress over the years with!
